CAIA support the UK’s over 20,000 Armenians, from their centre in West London, and were well placed to adapt to the barriers created by ‘lockdown’ due to being user-led, understanding the needs of isolated and inter sectional Armenians and having already been part of the Good Things Foundation’s Online Centre Network.
During the current Corona Virus Pandemic Lockdown, the inequalities experienced in our community due to digital exclusion have become even more acute/amplified .
CAIA secured a successful grant to employ a part time digital inclusion project co-ordinator. Throughout the pandemic we continued to deliver seasonal services.
