Become a trustee
HEAR is looking for trustees to join the Board to help lead the organisation during this pivotal and exciting time.
We would like to hear from people who understand the needs of organisations, and individuals, working in the field of equality and human rights.
You will have:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- An understanding of the practical, operational, strategic, social, and political context in which human rights and inequality occurs.
- An understanding of charity operations, governance, and role as a trustee.
You should be able to commit to at least six board meetings a year and one full day meeting.
If you are interested or would like to discuss further, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a CV and supporting statement of what skills, knowledge, experience, and attributes you can bring to the Board and Charity.
If you work or volunteer in the voluntary and community sector in London and are passionate about tackling inequality and discrimination and promoting social justice, or a Londoner with lived experience of inequality, please join our growing network membership so that we can build solidarity and work together for a more equal London.
