The Volunteering Together report is the result of a collaborative research project funded by Spirit 2012, led by Kim Donahue Consulting.

It is based on quantitative and qualitative research to explore the inclusion of disabled people in volunteering and includes both disability focused and non-disability focused organisations, user-led and non user-led, and of all sizes.

Volunteer managers and coordinators, disabled and non-disabled volunteers, were spoken to.

Recommendations were then made for improvements in policy and practice.
